As much as it pains me to post an entry that will move the awesome picture of Stephanie and myself down, I must do it in order to remind you of some things on this night of our State of Depression address. We all must sacrifice for the greater good.

Bush intends to fill those with still empty heads and blind devotion this evening with more mumbo-jumbo about the economy and how strong we are and will be. Odds are, he will not make mention of the following:

• Jack Abramoff
• wiretapping
• Tom Delay
• the death toll of Iraqi citizens
• the Enron trial
• impending impeachment
• Brokeback Mountain
