Aqua-Chi or Aqua-Gross?

I went for an Aqua Chi session tonight to help with some allergy problems I am currently enduring. Usually, after the session my water is an orange color with some black flecks signifying joint goo and heavy metals. Tonight was far different. When I got done after a 45 minute session, my water was BROWN with clouds of BLACK and flecks of TEAL! OMG! I am so grossed out that my body had that much goo in it! I mean, I'm glad that it is out and that the water proved that something is going on, but come on! Gross!

Going back on Saturday for another session. Hoping for a much better color. Will post the results. Hold your breath!!

see similarities?...anyone...anyone...

It's always good in theory

It is that time again when we attempt to make a humorous Christmas card involving our children.
I was so excited when I found new outfits to replace the usual red neck ruffs and reindeer antlers. Yes, our babies would be a cheery elf and Old St. Nick himself this year. Right.
This was the last picture we took in a series of about 70. They look so happy don't they? Oh, 'tis the season! Posted by Picasa

Rent

After months of anticipation, 'Rent' is finally in theatres. Wow. What a beautiful transition from stage to screen. It is so great to see this profound show come to life in such a big way. Rarely can you say that a movie has the ability to make you laugh, cry, and dance!
I am so proud that this story is a point of reference for me. Such simple truths that apply to every aspect of life. http://sonypictures.com/movies/rent/

sweet baby

We had our first night of cold weather in Gainesville last night. It must be time to break out the sweaters because Mason is fully bonded with his blanket!
When he is cold, he stands on his bed and looks around for someone to come cover him with his blanket! I have never known a dog to be so excited to see his very own blankets emerge from the long closet of summer!
Sweet. I just can't kiss and love on him enough! I am starting to understand people who have unnatural attachments to their pets. ;)

learning

Day two of being a blogger...
It's funny how something like having your own space to ramble, rant, praise, and celebrate changes how you think.

I'm finding that one of my favorite things to do is hit the Next Blog button at the top of the home page so I can see what others are doing. Boy do people have a lot to say. A lot of people have a need to share and be heard if only by the silent monitor screen. All of the sudden I want to share my crazy thoughts on this thing. Like someone will actually think what I have to say is important or relevant, or even read it in the first place!

Apparently I have a lot to say as well.

fair is fair...

Okay, to be fair and give her just as much exposure as her brother, I must post a pic of Karly, my gorgeous 9 yr old Siberian Husky. This is a dog with a will of her own and no one else's agenda can derail her! Just look at her in the photo...she can't even be bothered to look at the camera for chance that her lounging among the Blanket Flowers would be interrupted!

As I type she is looking out the window, chin rested on sill, longing for her mother to get home from a massage. Oh the torture she must endure...

My First Day As A Blogger

Well, after much peer pressure to start my own blog, I have finally taken the plunge!
I figured the best way to start is with a picture of my favorite Boxer in the world--- my beautiful, two-year-old, boy, Mason!
Isn't he great?

I am looking forward to sharing pictures, thoughts, rants, celebrations and just plain old boring everyday stuff with whovever is interested! Enjoy!
