Has anyone else noticed that the rest of the world seems to be ruling in favor of same-sex marraige while we the US are at a stand still? In what seems to be a symbolic thumbing of the nose, countries all around the world are voting to accept and increase the rights of homosexuals. It feels like every day a new country announces that it will soon allow gay marraige. Just this week, England and South Africa made proclamations.
What are we doing?
In a time when nationalism is out of control, we continue to show our inferiority and closemindedness by excluding minorities all under the guise of religion and yellow ribbons.
