when do we learn?

After Tuesday's State of the Union address, most of us felt like we had just been shoveled another helping of Bushit instead of a serious strategy to get our troops out of Iraq or help our domestic situation.

The best part of the address was hearing "Madame Speaker" for the first time and seeing Nancy Pelosi sitting tightly over Bush's left shoulder! Awesome!

However, one would think that with a Democratic majority, we would be able to start politely, but firmly, throwing our weight around. You know, a little show of whose boss. Instead we got ANOTHER non-binding resolution. What the freak?!!

Why do the Dems in DC think that a milk-toast non-binding resolution is going to start bringing our troops home? A smack on the wrist. A wag of the finger. They may as well just have gone home early yesterday rather than waste time conjuring up another strong suggestion.

Has anyone else figured out that Bush has every intention of doing exactly what HE wants to do and what is best for HIS agenda and buddies?

My very own Senator Nelson continued his tightrope walk down the middle, making sure he didn't hurt any feelings. I've long known that Bill Nelson is a moderate and probably would like to be a Republican, but is too far in the muck to change stream, but I voted for him anyway. I mean look at my other option:
