just a simple apology is all it takes, apparently

Former Representative Henry Hyde (R) died this morning in Chicago. (sniff)

CBS News reports: "Hyde was chairman of the Judiciary panel during the impeachment of former President Bill Clinton in 1998. Salon.com reported in Sept. 1998 that Hyde had carried on an extra-marital affair in the late 1960s, for which Hyde publicly apologized."

So, what I'm getting is that in the Republican world, as long as you apologize after being caught all is forgiven, and being hypocritical and two-faced liars is the order of the day.

I am still shocked that the Republicans support Rudy. Lying, cheating and three marriages are okay if you aren't Clinton? But I guess these are the same folks who support the murder of thousands of people by Bush but can't forgive Clinton a blow job. I might be able to see the good in a Republican president if his IQ was higher than 50 and he made responsible decisions. Republicans can't even admit that Clinton did a good job with foreign affairs and the economy. Bush hasn't done anything positive for this country. bh
